Remove candle wax

A stain on the upholstery? No problem: simply place a piece of blotting paper on it and blow-dry over it. The wax will become wonderfully soft and stick to the paper.

Straighten creases

Heat helps with creases in carpets with a plastic or rubber backing. Blow-dry the creases and then place a heavy object on top to fix them.

Removing stickers

If you heat the surfaces beforehand, you can scrape the stickers off more easily with a scraper.

Defrosting the refrigerator

Simply blow away the icy surfaces - it's quicker that way. Keep a cloth to hand in case the drain is overloaded with melt water.

Dust off radiators

The air also blows dirt out of the gaps. Vacuum thoroughly afterwards.
