When the weather gets too bad for the bike with constant rain and cold, the e-bike needs a place to spend the winter. A sheltered, dry place in a garage, cellar or hallway is ideal. However, if the e-bike has to be left outside for a longer period of time, a waterproof protective cover is advisable. However, depending on the weather, condensation can form under the cover. To prevent rust, the bike should be dried off from time to time and the tarpaulin aired.
The battery should be stored dry and at room temperature with a 50 to 80 percent charge. It should be recharged after a three-month break.
