Anja's girls' tour: we create our own vintage coffee table

Vintage, retro, old school - there are many terms for a trend that has been permeating all areas of our daily lives for some time now. The interior design industry in particular has long been significantly influenced by it. Whether it's a sofa, table or chest of drawers - we love furniture that looks as if grandma and grandpa enjoyed it back in the day. Anja Neurohr and Tatjana Weidemann are also into retro. Today, the two girls are going on a tour of Christoph Heinrich, who transforms old furniture into real gems.

Anja and Tatjana go to work

Anja and Tatjana discover unique home decor

After personal training and yoga with Ralf Bauer , Anja and Tatjana turn their attention to art in the latest episode of "Anjas Mädelstour" - the art of living. The two of them got hold of an old piece at a flea market, which they want to transform into a modern coffee table with retro flair with the help of Christoph Heinrich, owner of Einzig.artig - Wohnkultur from Karlsruhe.

The women are themselves

Although Christoph's main job is breathing new life into old pieces of furniture, Anja and Tatjana are of course allowed to work on their own piece themselves. First, nails are removed, then large tools are used: Tatjana gets to work with a sanding machine. In the final step, the wood is oiled. And it's not just the girls who are delighted with their old new furniture, Christoph has also taken a liking to the coffee table!

Do you also fancy individual pieces of furniture with that certain vintage flair? Then don't be shy and get to work! Take Christoph's professional tips to heart, which he reveals in the DIY quickie at the end of the video!
