Installation is even possible without drilling, plugs or screws, making it perfect for rented apartments. All you need to fix the stainless steel panels is a suitable adhesive. This must be able to adhere metal to plastered or tiled walls and should also provide a seal. After all, it's not just grease that splatters in the kitchen; dishwater, cooking water and condensation also regularly end up on the walls.
And this is how it's done:
1. clean the stainless steel worktop
Use a suitable grease remover and a lint-free cloth to carefully clean the stainless steel plate. The surface must be stable, dry and clean for the panel to adhere properly. Therefore, remove any dust and

2. apply adhesive
Apply the transparent adhesive to the back of the metal sheet in a line and at equal intervals. The adhesive can even out small unevennesses on the wall.
3. install the splash guard
Press the stainless steel plate firmly and evenly onto the wall. The immediately adhering, waterproof adhesive immediately ensures a secure hold. Tip: For very long metal plates, it is best to work in pairs!
4. fix the plate in place
Until the adhesive has completely hardened, the splashback plate is fixed to the wall or tiles at all four corners with a piece of adhesive tape.
You will need this in addition to the stainless steel plate:
- Mounting adhesive (e.g. Pattex One For All Crystal from Henkel Pattex)
- Adhesive tape (e.g. Pattex Power Tape from Henkel Pattex)
