Simple and inexpensive: a slatted frame can be quickly transformed into a stylish wall organizer in just a few simple steps.

Have you only used your slatted frame for sleeping so far? Then you'd be surprised what else it can do. It looks particularly good as a stylish wall organizer and is guaranteed to be an eye-catcher in your home.

You will need:

  • 1 inexpensive slatted frame (e.g. from Ikea)
  • 2 hooks
  • 2 dowels
  • hammer
  • drill

Instructions: Converting a slatted frame into an organizer

First measure the slatted frame and use a pencil to mark the holes for the wall hooks at the correct height. Then drill the holes with a drill.

Use a hammer to insert dowels into the drill holes for a better hold. Screw the wall hooks in place and simply hang the slatted frame on them. Now you can start decorating!

DIY tip: By the way, you can also use your slatted frame organizer in other ways, e.g. as a shoe rack. All you need are a few boot clips to which the shoes can be attached and simply hung up.
