It's up to the woman: Hanging herb rack

Good prospects for healthy cooking: the ideal place for sage, basil, mint, parsley or thyme is a herb shelf by the window. Quick to make, great smelling, simple and elegant.

What you need for a hanging herb rack:

Wooden board (spruce), approx. 1 m long
6 herb pots
4 wire ropes
8 rope clamps
Cordless saw
Cordless drill driver (e.g. Bosch)

And this is how it works:

Step 1: Prepare the shelf board
Saw to the desired length. Draw outlines for the pots, 1 cm smaller than their top edge.

Step 2: Drill holes for hanging the herb rack
Drill four holes for the wire ropes in the corners of the board, then drill one hole on the inner edge of each circle.

Step 3: Create space for the pots
Carefully saw out the circles using a jigsaw blade that is also suitable for curved cuts.

Step 4: Attach the herb rack to the ceiling
Attach wire ropes to the board using rope clamps. Hang up the shelf and place the herb pots inside.
