Learn to crochet: Increasing stitches

For the arms of a top, for example, you need even slants. You crochet these by adding stitch by stitch.

To do this, proceed as follows:

Crochet a single crochet stitch. Then insert another stitch into this stitch. Then crochet another single crochet as usual. Then simply continue crocheting as usual.
