You only need a few ingredients to make a decorative preserving jar and the animal organizer jars are ready to fill. The chic decorative jars are almost too good for the kitchen shelf and also look great on the coffee table or shelf.

Make a decorative mason jar: What you need

  • plain preserving jars with a lid
  • Plastic animal figures (from the toy store)
  • golden spray paint
  • liquid glue

DIY instructions for the organizer jars

  • Spray the lid and the animal figure with the paint and leave to dry thoroughly.
  • Apply enough glue to the underside of the figure and press it onto the center of the lid. Keep it pressed until the glue is reasonably firm.

Now the jars can be filled and the animal lids screwed on.
