1. flour as a stain remover
Flour has moisture-binding properties and can even bind grease! It is therefore a perfect stain remover. Stains from cooking oil on clothing, for example, can be treated with flour. Simply apply some of it to the affected area and leave it to work for a while. Then shake off the flour and put the garment in the washing machine. When crafting with glue, annoying glue residue often remains on the fingers. However, we can easily get rid of this with flour. Rub a little flour in your hands to bind the glue and it will crumble off your fingers together with the flour. This trick works best when the glue is still very fresh on your fingers, unfortunately it is a little more difficult with dried glue residue.

When baking or cooking, it can happen that an egg falls on the floor. To lift the sticky mass and avoid smearing the base, we again rely on flour and its binding properties. Sprinkle some flour on top, wait for the egg to bind and then lift everything up with some kitchen paper.

Do you love card games? Over time, the playing cards become unsightly, but it's hard to clean them with water. Fingerprints and grease stains can easily be removed with flour! Place the cards in a plastic bag and sprinkle the flour over them. Add a few drops of water so that the flour is slightly absorbed. Now rub the outside of the plastic bag until the cards are clean. The flour works like a scrub. Then remove the excess flour from the cards with household paper or a kitchen towel.
