Coffee grounds camouflage scratches in wood
Small scratches, for example in dark wooden floors, can be repaired using coffee grounds. Ideally, the coffee grounds should still be slightly damp. Then use a cotton bud to rub it into the groove. This will make the scratched area invisible.
Coffee grounds repel ants
Coffee grounds should ensure that there are fewer ants in the garden. Ants are mainly attracted by scent trails. The smell of coffee grounds has a neutralizing effect on these traces, which is why fewer of the little animals are attracted.
Tip: Dried coffee grounds are said to help against slugs and snails.
