This tried-and-tested household remedy can be used in a variety of ways, for example to keep pipes clean or to clean the toilet. It can also be used in combination with vinegar to remove limescale, urine scale or mold.

Extra tip: Because of the bacteria, you should regularly replace sponges and mops. You should also wash dishcloths weekly at 60 degrees.
