
Cleaning windows with vinegar: how to do it right
Hand on heart - hardly any of us like cleaning windows, after all, it's a tiring job. And if you don't do it properly, you'll see streaks at the first ray of sunshine and have to start all over again. That's why we tell you how to clean your windows properly with vinegar so that you can enjoy a clear view through the panes later on.
You need the following to clean your windows:
- 1 liter of cold to lukewarm water
- 1 cup of vinegar
- 1 squeegee
- 1 cloth for cleaning
- 1-2 cloths for wiping

Clean windows properly with vinegar:
- Add the vinegar to the water (never use vinegar directly) and wipe the windows thoroughly first on the inside and then on the outside.
- Then carefully wipe the windows with the squeegee. Wipe away the edges with a clean, dry cloth.
- Wipe the window frames with clean, cold to lukewarm water. For heavy soiling, you can add a drop of washing-up liquid - in this case, please use a new cloth. Then wipe the frames dry. That's it!
Tip: To ensure that the windows are really streak-free afterwards, never clean them in the sunshine.
