Crafting fun for a spooky-chic haunted festival

Trick or treat! On the evening of October 31, little vampires, witches and ghosts roam the streets again. And we welcome them with home-made decorations! Glittering pumpkins adorn the entrance area and black cats cavort on the windowsill - huh, huh Halloween!

This is what you need for the cat lantern & ghost head:

Lanterns
Cat templates (e.g. internet)
Black cardboard
Pencil and scissors
tracing paper
Black fiber silk
fabric tape, scotch tape
pumpkins
White acrylic paint
paintbrush
black glitter powder
glue

How to make the cat lantern:

1. transfer the cat template onto cardboard, cut out. Cut the fiber floss and tracing paper according to the dimensions of the lantern.

2. attach the cut-out cat to the center of the bottom edge of the fiber silk with black fabric tape.

3. place the fiber floss around the lantern, fix with tape. Place the transparent paper over it and stick it down.

This is how the ghost head works:

Prime the pumpkins with white acrylic paint. Draw the grimace and net with a pencil, trace the lines with glue (e.g. tesa® multi-purpose adhesive) and sprinkle with black glitter powder. Leave to dry - done!
