Why you should put aluminum foil in the dishwasher
A piece of aluminum foil protects cutlery from the reddish-brown rust film. And it's that simple: Form a ball from a piece of aluminum foil (3 to 4 cm) and place it in the cutlery basket. It is important that the shiny side is facing outwards. The foil acts as a magnet so that the rust film settles on the foil and not on the cutlery. Clever, isn't it?
