Our dishwasher can do much more than just wash the dishes! Save yourself unnecessary work and leave the following items to the dishwasher for cleaning.

Dishwasher: You can also clean these 5 things in it

Fabric items: Some fabric items can also be cleaned in the dishwasher instead of the washing machine. The advantage over the washing machine is that they are less stressed than in the washing drum as they are not whirled around. Delicate items, such as fabric shoes or baseball caps, which could otherwise lose their shape, feel at home in the dishwasher.
Tip: Place the cap in the dishwasher drawer with the opening facing downwards.

Metal items: Some metal items can also be put in the dishwasher without any problems. These include, for example, the shower head from the bathroom or the filter from the extractor hood.

Plastic items: Plastic items are great for cleaning in the dishwasher. This is especially perfect for toys! Even plastic hair clips or make-up brushes will be sparkling clean again.
Tip: Even the washing-up brush needs a clean from time to time, so pop it in the dishwasher!

Dog toys and food bowls: Food bowls for dogs, cats and other pets are often made of plastic. We don't always have to wash them by hand. To get them really clean, we should put them in the dishwasher from time to time. The same applies to plastic animal toys, such as balls or squeaky toys. These can get quite dirty over time and should therefore also be cleaned regularly.

Car accessories: Don't feel like cleaning rims by hand in a laborious and time-consuming process? You don't have to. You can simply put the car accessories in the dishwasher and press the button - the rest will take care of itself. Most rims are made of aluminum and have a special coating that is unproblematic for dishwasher tabs.
