1. home office: one corner is enough
Of course you can sit in the corner of the sofa with your laptop or tablet on your knees. But a home office like this - a place just for you? That would be something! If there isn't a whole room available, the office can be partitioned off with a dividing wall, which we have painted in a bright green - that puts you in a good mood. In front of it, white furniture such as the small "Picton" desk, the "Retro" lamp and the decorative "Trio" wall shelves look spring-fresh. The "Stuart" swivel chair with decorative quilted seams is inviting. Three drawers in the "Spice" mobile pedestal provide storage space. Because the be-all and end-all in the home office is ... Tidiness.
2 My dream - a box-spring bed - comes true
To know that you are lying on a sprung base frame, on which the mattress, and even a soft topper if desired, lies, wrapped in fine cotton bed linen - doesn't that sound heavenly? In the "Dreamer" box-spring bed, you feel like king and queen. If the room allows, give the bed a place of honor and place it diagonally in the corner. This creates useful storage space behind it or room for a tall potted plant, which immediately conjures up a natural atmosphere. A small table serves as a shelf and "home" for a Buddha figure. The lettering "Dream" reminds us that many beautiful dreams can come true in this room.
3. the sofa becomes a chic control center
If the sofa not only extends around the corner, but also offers a reclining area, a comfortable "living island" is created. A stool that matches the sofa serves as additional storage space; with a tray, it even becomes a casual coffee table. A sideboard between the sofa and the wall makes a useful shelf. And a decorative wall adds variety to the room, depending on the choice of wallpaper. The sofa corner can even act as a border to a kitchen counter with bar stools - as in the picture on the right. The "Shaggy" carpet surrounds the living area in a lively turquoise, one of this year's trend colors. Original: this color is reflected in the eyes of the leopard in the cushion on the couch. The super-soft "Fox" blanket makes it cozy and comfortable with light from above when needed thanks to the white pendant light in the style of the sixties.
4. a dining room with southern flair creates a vacation feeling
Isn't one of the best vacation memories sitting down at a table in a simple trattoria and letting the good Lord be a good man for once? Why not transport this feeling into your own four walls? Our recipe suggestion: combine the "Sylt" table group (only one of two benches can be seen in the picture) with the "Capri" chairs made of solid beech with rush weave and you have a trattoria feel. A gray-blue decorative scarf in a linen look caresses the window. And bring plenty of light into the room, e.g. with paper lamps such as the oval "Japan ball" and the 120 cm high round paper floor lamp. Set the table with the white "Atrium" porcelain service.
