Your own four walls play a role that should not be underestimated. Many homeowners dream of having a fireplace in their own home. No wonder, after all, a blazing fire creates a feel-good atmosphere in no time at all. But why just dream? Make your dream come true and bring the charm of a mountain hut into your own four walls. Or do you prefer cool elegance? Stoves are available in many different styles. We'll tell you which stove is right for your home.

An open fireplace not only provides a beautiful firelight but also warmth in the room

Stoves look decorative and create comfort. Which model is best suited to your needs depends on several factors: For example, how large is the area to be heated with the stove? What heat output does it need to provide? How high are the ceilings? Will it be used indoors or outdoors? There are virtually no limits to visual preferences when it comes to stoves. As they generally have a lifespan of 20 to 30 years, it is better to opt for classic shapes rather than short-lived design trends when choosing a stove.

Stoves without a heating effect

The ethanol fireplace is economical, but not a significant addition to the heating system. It burns ethanol, which can be used in liquid or gel form - it requires around half a liter of fuel per hour. Ethanol fireplaces do not need to be connected to the chimney, they are merely decorative and can create a cozy atmosphere indoors. The stoves are available in a wide variety of designs.

Real fire feeling with an electric fireplace

It is a good alternative to wood-burning stoves that work with real fire: Electric fireplaces today are much more than makeshift plastic logs lit from the inside. Better models, which are now available, create the impression of an open flame through the ultrasonic atomization of distilled water. The finest water droplets are illuminated from below - the result looks amazingly real! Most electric fireplaces have a power consumption of 1000 to 2000 watts per hour - if the fireplace is used a lot, this can have a significant impact on the electricity bill.

Fireplace with additional benefits: the barbecue fireplace

It is the jewel in the crown on terraces: a barbecue fireplace is one of those fireplaces that are only used outside and combines looks and functionality. As a permanently installed element, it is ideal for spontaneous barbecues - on covered areas, it can also serve as a heat source. The great advantage of a barbecue fireplace: even in bad weather, the food on the barbecue and the embers underneath are protected and dry. A worthwhile investment for barbecue fans!
