Love letters: the most beautiful form of confession

In this day and age of digitalization, it is actually becoming increasingly difficult to get a beautiful and self-written love letter. It is no longer fashionable to write love letters, especially among young people. WhatsApp, Facebook or simply FaceTime or Skype - there are other reasons why love letters have become so rare. But people still write birthday greetings on fancy postcards. Perhaps, or rather hopefully, love letters are making a long-awaited comeback.

Why love letters are far from obsolete

Actually, it's always like this: after a long relationship, everyday life returns. Of course you still love your partner very much and have feelings, but perhaps you don't have the opportunity to show it clearly. It slowly becomes a matter of course - it's natural that you love each other. But it's precisely this naturalness that shouldn't enter into a relationship. The best thing would be to show your love with a clear gesture - a love letter. Nothing is more beautiful than receiving an original, personal and handwritten declaration of love. It can be a great way to start paying attention to your feelings again and give romance a new kick.

It is important to pay attention to the form of the love letter . Maybe give the paper a personal touch and sprinkle it with your favorite scent? Or take some candle wax and seal the letter with a stamp. This will turn it into something special. There are no limits to your creativity - from colorful fineliners to sending several letters at different intervals, anything is possible.

Yes? No? Or maybe?

I still remember the most beautiful love letter I ever received. It was when I was 13 years old. It contained a sweet message that was completely different to what I would have expected. I'm sure you're thinking it would have been a simple "Will you go with me? Yes, no or maybe?" in it? Noooo! I actually didn't get the love letter from a suitor, but from my best friend! I kept it and still enjoy reading it to this day. The little insider stories that we experienced and that she wrote down there still warm my heart today. So my tip to you is to write something about shared experiences and how much they mean to you.

P.S.: I love you

What reminds me of a very beautiful love letter? The movie "P.S. I love you". This love movie is about existing love that outlasts death. The protagonist receives new love letters at certain intervals, written by her deceased husband. He gives her advice, tasks and nice encouragement. He always writes at the end of the love letter: "P.S. I love you". If you want to spend a nice cozy evening - watch this film. You won't regret it.

With this in mind - have fun writing and/or reading a love letter.
