Sex for three, which seems so erotic in your head, can in reality quickly lead to more frustration than pleasure. The first problem arises when choosing a partner: Because while 62% of men dream of a threesome with two women, the fantasies of 42% of women involve two men. However, only 17% of the men surveyed fancy a threesome. (As of 08.07.2016 - to the blog post) After all, which man would like to share the lady? One of the men's biggest fears is, of course, that the other guy might have a bigger penis and a better body and be able to last longer. The competitive pressure can become too great. And the same goes for us women, who are only too happy to compare ourselves with others. What if the other woman has a more beautiful figure? What if her breasts are bigger, firmer and better shaped? What if our partner satisfies the other woman with seemingly greater pleasure than ourselves? Jealousy dramas and relationship stress are inevitable and the "sexy" adventure is quickly chalked up to a frustrating mistake.

Remember: a threesome is often not quite as quick in reality as it is in fantasy!... Or is it? We wanted to find out more and asked the readers of our ORION blog for their opinion (as of 08.07.2016). And the results are interesting! Because of the 39% of women and 31% of men who have already had sex in a threesome, only very few regret the erotic tryst. Quite the opposite: 83% of women and 84% of men who have ever had a threesome said they enjoyed their sex adventure to the full.

So maybe we should be braver and live out our secret fantasies after all. Because if we're honest, we usually regret the things we haven't done more than the one or other stupid thing we've done. Let's just hope that we're not one of the 16% of women who regret having sex in a threesome afterwards!
