What are yoni eggs?
The word yoni comes from the ancient Indian language Sanskrit, which was used as a literary and scholarly language in India. Yoni describes the female genitals vulva, vagina and uterus and therefore refers to the womb in the broadest sense.
As organs such as the bladder, bowel and uterus are weakened after childbirth, targeted recovery exercises are important to help women get fit again after giving birth. Particular importance is attached to the muscles and ligaments in the pelvic floor, which, if too weak, can result not only in back pain but also incontinence.
A Yoni Egg, which you insert vaginally, is held in place by your pelvic floor muscles, whereby the continuous training with the egg strengthens your muscles and supports the regression of the tissue. The alternating tensing and relaxing of the vaginal and pelvic floor muscles helps a weak bladder to gain more strength and thus also prevents incontinence in old age.
Please note that you are always in motion when using a Yoni Egg. It is ideal for beginners to wear the Yoni Egg for 10 to 15 minutes at first, for example when showering. After just a few weeks, you will feel the first effects - not only in terms of better control of your pubococcygeus muscle (also known as the PC muscle for short), but also in terms of sensitivity and pleasure.
As training with the Yoni Egg leads to a strengthening of the PC muscle, you also benefit from increased blood flow, which sensitizes the nerve endings in the area of your vagina. Yoni eggs are therefore also good for sensitivity during sexual intercourse and help you to rediscover your passion and (self-)love.
However, training with the Yoni Egg doesn't just make intense orgasms possible. The little love eggs also have pain-relieving properties and can help you to alleviate physical and emotional discomfort associated with the menstrual cycle (PMS) and menstrual cramps.

Which Yoni Egg size is right for me?
You can usually buy yoni eggs in sets of 3 and there is a reason for this. Medium and large love eggs are ideal for beginners. If you already have experience with yoni eggs, you can also use a small version or vary between the individual sizes.
This may sound a little contradictory at first, but it makes perfect sense. Start with a large Yoni Egg and use a small love egg as you become more skilled and continue to train.
How do I use a yoni egg?
Inserting a yoni egg is child's play. For beginners, it is advisable to lie relaxed on your back and spread your legs. Then insert the love egg into your vagina with the bulbous side first. And don't worry: the yoni egg will find the perfect position on its own thanks to its shape.
Removing the yoni egg is also very easy after a little practice. You don't have to worry about the love egg getting stuck or disappearing. The yoni egg can only go as far as the cervix and is pushed out using muscle strength while squatting. For beginners, there are also Yoni Eggs with return straps so that you can pull the egg out of your vagina at any time.

How do I clean a yoni egg?
Yoni eggs naturally need to be cleaned regularly. Rinse the love egg thoroughly under lukewarm water and avoid soaps with chemical additives and disinfectants. This is neither good for your vagina nor for the semi-precious stone itself, which can become porous. A soft cloth is sufficient for drying.
