Wine week in the Rheinauhafen in Cologne

Where? Cologne, Harry-Blum-Platz When? 12 - 21.08.2016

For the 4th time, the Wine Week will take place in the newly designed Rheinauhafen in Cologne. Winegrowers from the best winegrowing regions in Germany will be presenting their wines and inviting visitors to enjoy tasting them. The wine producers from Mosel, Ahr, Rheingau and Rheinhessen will be happy to share their expertise with you. There is also a wide range of regional delicacies on offer: Hessian sabre meat, vintner steak or spit roast, but also numerous delicious delicacies from all over the world. On August 12, the wine queen of the Moselle, Lena I, will open the festival. Every day from 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. you can taste, enjoy and feast. Admission is of course free! Vegan cooking and vegan wines

Where? Nies winery in Lorch (Rheingau) When? 27.08.2016

Vegan cooking can be quite a tricky business, especially if you have little experience with this healthy form of nutrition. In a special cooking course, you will learn about the variety of vegan cuisine with creative and delicious recipes. Together with the course instructor, you will prepare an imaginative 3-course meal. Rheingau Wine Market

Where? Frankfurt am Main, Große Bockenheimer Straße When? 31.08 - 09.09.2016

On Frankfurt's promenade, the "Freßgass'", the Rheingau winegrowers present their finest wines. All in all, there are over 600 red and white wines as well as sparkling wines to try - at no less than 30 stands. Everything is included: fine sweet wines, sparkling light Rieslings, characterful red wines from the Rheingau. You can also take the opportunity to indulge in international dishes from the local restaurants, which cater for the physical well-being of wine market guests. Presentation of the new vintage

Where? Berlin, Französische Straße 33 When? 12.09.2016

Finally, another truly exceptional wine event in the capital! In the festive Telegrafensaal, the best German wineries will present the wines from their most exclusive vineyards. The wines presented will not be available to buy until then, so this is a real premiere. The VDP is one of the most important authorities for quality in German viticulture and has strict guidelines when it comes to wines of the highest quality level: the VDP Grosse Gewächse. And that's why it's even more worthwhile to taste these fine wines before anyone else.
The event starts at 1 p.m. on Monday and you can sample and taste to your heart's content until 6 p.m. All further information is available directly from the organizer.
