Great Wine Capitals Wine Express (Mainz)

Together with cities such as Bilbao, Cape Town and San Francisco, Mainz is one of the international "Great Wine Capitals". On this weekend, the GWC Wine Express will visit two excellent wineries in the immediate vicinity of Mainz and explore the wine gastronomy of the wine world city. Of course, there will also be a tasting of the top wines. At the second winery, there is also a typical Rheinhessen snack with "Weck & Worscht". Autumn wine tasting at the Badisches Weinhaus (Hamburg)

Well over 800 wines from more than 30 winegrowers from the Baden region and beyond can be tasted this weekend in Hamburg and, if you like them, you can also buy them directly. The Badisches Weinhaus provides the perfect backdrop for this and also offers culinary specialties from the region: original Baden tarte flambée, Bibliskäs and bacon sandwiches, as well as an impressive selection of cheeses and, of course, coffee and homemade cakes. A very special event is coming up in October for all daring and adventurous wine lovers in Hamburg. Vinoa is organizing its first official wine hunt - the free wine rally for Hamburg's wine lovers. More than 100 wine treasures will be hidden in the city's most beautiful places, just waiting to be found. It starts at 2 pm at the Fischauktionshalle. Clues on the Facebook page of the vinoa wine hunt will guide you from treasure to treasure. The rally ends in one of Hamburg's most beautiful vinotheques, where the main prize of the rally will be raffled off and the treasures will be celebrated with fine wines. Those who can't get enough of the autumn wine tasting in Hamburg will have the opportunity to taste Baden and Württemberg wines again in Berlin. Let popular grape varieties melt in your mouth: Chasselas, Riesling, Silvaner, Kerner, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Müller-Thurgau, Lemberger, Pinot Noir, Trollinger.
