Wine tip

Whether it's beauty pieces, garden equipment or fitness equipment: we currently order almost everything online. So why not the perfect wine for dinner too?

A good meal simply needs a good wine

Even though supermarkets are usually well stocked, the real fine wines are still available from the winegrower. Many already have online stores like the Meßmer winery. Here, for example, there are perfectly coordinated wine packages, e.g. from a 2016 Burrweiler Schloßgarten Pinot Gris dry, 2015 Sankt Laurent dry and the 2012 Burrweiler Schloßgarten Pinot Noir dry. You can buy them here for as little as 45 euros.

Those who don't have a direct online store are offering their customers a special deal in times of coronavirus, such as Tina Pfaffmann. The winemaker, who has made a name for herself among star chefs from Sylt to Munich, as well as supplying Germany's best-known restaurants,
and small trendy bars, is currently offering great packages. For example, twelve wines personally selected by Tina Pfaffmann. The fine wines, which otherwise cost around 130 euros per bottle, are now available in a package for just 99 euros each, including shipping. Click here to go to the store.

The Gies-Düppel winery has another great wine offer. Wine lovers currently receive free home delivery for orders of 12 bottles or more.

Wine specialties from all over the world

The family-run G ies-Düppel winery has been stocking wines from all over Europe in its cellar for over 40 years. The range also includes bottles from Chile and the USA. Gies-Düppel is careful not to have an off-the-peg range: Renowned wine classics such as Muscadet or "Cot" from the Loire are just as much a part of the repertoire as unknown wine newcomers: "We are always on the trail of winegrowers who know how to realize the motto "quality instead of quantity" in the most enjoyable way," says Volker Gies. In addition, attention is paid to environmentally conscious cultivation in the selection process. The main varieties are Riesling and Burgundy grapes such as Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris.

From the wine cellar to the living room at home

On the homepage, customers can quickly find their personal favorite wine thanks to numerous categories with filter options under the wine heading. Those who are not yet sure can either order tasting packages or seek personal advice by phone or e-mail. Cheers then!
