Fresh orange peel can be used like a sponge to clean stainless steel.

Fragrant rinse aid

Place a few large pieces of peel in the cutlery tray of the dishwasher. The fruit acid helps to soften the water. At the same time, it provides a very pleasant and fresh fragrance.

Great stink remover

Plastic bowls and Tupperware often take on unpleasant odors after frequent use. Simply rub them with the inside of orange peel and then wash them out thoroughly. Such a rub-down also helps if the fridge smells.

Inexpensive cleaner

Fill an old preserving jar with orange peel and pour vinegar up to the rim. Close the jar and store horizontally for a week. Then pour the vinegar and orange water into a spray bottle and use as a household cleaner.
