Must-have and fall decoration number one: candles! They give us a lovely feeling of comfort and cozy light. Scented candles in particular create a cozy atmosphere with beguiling aromas. Popular fragrances in the fall are cinnamon, vanilla, sandalwood and orange.

Warm tones are typical for the third season, as Mother Nature also provides reddish-golden leaves. Home accessories made of copper therefore look particularly good, as the metal conveys warmth and elegance. If the copper is untreated, it gradually acquires an interesting patina through oxidation. Copper is not just copper anyway: it comes in a variety of colors from light rosé to red-orange to a warm, rich brown.

There's nothing like fall decorations from nature. When guests are coming and the table needs to be festively set, you'll find the free accessory right outside the door: colorful golden autumn leaves that just need to be spread on the festive table. A vase of asters also looks great on the dining table, as a last greeting from the outgoing summer.

Pumpkins are also a must. To ensure that the autumn decorations with the heavy fruits don't become a feat of strength, idee recommends using small Hokkaido pumpkins.
