Preparation of pull-apart bread

This deliciously hearty pull-apart bread not only tastes delicious, it is also a real eye-catcher on your buffet and is ready to serve in less than 30 minutes.

All you need is:

  • 1 loaf of bread

  • spring onions

  • chives

  • garlic

  • Olive oil or butter

  • pepper

  • salt

  • Sliced or grated cheese

Preparation of pulled bread

  1. Using a large bread knife, slice the bread evenly lengthwise and crosswise with a gap of about 2 cm - not all the way to the bottom.

  2. Finely chop the spring onions, chives and garlic and mix with a little olive oil or butter and a pinch of salt and pepper.

  3. Spread into the incisions in the bread with a knife and top with the cheese.

  4. Preheat the oven and bake for 20 minutes at 200°C fan oven until the cheese has melted and everything is golden brown.

Hot tip: You can of course fill the bread with other ingredients as you wish. For example, how about the sweet version with a delicious nougat and nut filling for a coffee party with your loved ones?
