1 Maintaining the appliance regularly
Clean the oven while it is still warm. Remove individual parts such as the wire shelf and baking tray and soak them in diluted vinegar cleaner. And: also clean the seals with water - otherwise they will become brittle from the grease.
2 Make your own steam cleaner
Place the grill rack on the bottom shelf and place a bowl of water with the juice of several lemons on top. Heat the oven to 200 degrees and wait until the "acidic" steam loosens grease and crusts. Then wipe out the oven well.
3 Replace the washing powder
Sprinkle a thin layer on the bottom of the oven and place two layers of damp kitchen paper on top. Leave to work overnight and wipe with water and a cleaning cloth. To be on the safe side, read the operating instructions.
4 Clever use of baking powder
Mix with water to form a thick paste and apply to the stained areas. Alternatively, use baking soda or mix 1 tablespoon of washing soda with 1 liter of water and spray onto the oven. Allow to work in well, then wipe everything out.
