Which comforter is perfect for me?

At the start of spring, we clean thoroughly, muck out - and often banish thick blankets and pillows to the storeroom. But which comforter is the right one? Depending on the type of sleeper, certain fillings are ideal for an undisturbed night's sleep and sweet dreams.

It's getting warmer - but of course we still want to be nice and cozy when we sleep. We'll tell you here which comforter suits your sleeping style.

Which comforter suits warm sleepers?

If you need thick knitted socks on your feet to fall asleep even on warm nights, you should choose a comforter with down filling (look for good quality here). These are very light, very voluminous and hug the body particularly well. Real warmth keepers!

Which comforter for cold sleepers?

If you sweat quickly at night, it is best to choose comforters with a filling made of natural hair such as new wool or cashmere. They are very breathable and ensure particularly good temperature regulation. Disadvantage: They are heavier than down.

Good blankets for allergy sufferers

Synthetic microfibers are ideal here, as they can be machine washed at 95 degrees without any problems. Unlike down and natural hair, they also do not provide an attractive climate for mites, making it difficult for them to breed. At the same time, they are very skin-friendly.

Care

Air out regularly after every sleep - because we lose about half a liter of moisture every night, most of which is absorbed by the comforter. Clean and dry the comforter and pillow about twice a year according to the manufacturer's instructions. Replace after ten years at the latest.
