Cool refreshment on hot days: Chardonnay iced tea

Don't you know that too? When it's hot outside, we want a tasty refreshment. In summer, we like to enjoy white wine well chilled, often as a white wine spritzer. To add a little variety to your glass, vinoa has a very special recipe for you: Chardonnay iced tea. And the best thing is, you have most of the ingredients at home anyway, we promise!

Refreshment on hot days: Chardonnay iced tea

Recipe for Chardonnay iced tea

Ingredients for 4 servings:

175 ml Chardonnay
120 ml gin
200 ml chamomile tea
100 ml lime juice
50 g honey
1.5 cups ice
2 lime slices to garnish

Preparation:

  1. Boil 200 ml of hot water and add the chamomile tea bag or a tea infuser with loose chamomile tea for 45 seconds. Then leave the tea to cool completely.
  2. Place the honey and tea together in a shaker and mix until the honey has dissolved. Then add the Chardonnay, gin and lime juice and stir briefly with a spoon.
  3. Divide the ice cream evenly between four glasses. Now divide the iced tea between the four glasses. Cut the two lime slices in half and decorate each glass with them.
  4. Tip: If guests are coming, simply prepare a few more portions. You can also pour the ice and iced tea into a large jug. This way, it can pre-cool until the guests arrive and everyone can pour individually.
