1. appreciation

63 percent of Officevibe users state that they do not receive enough praise. At most once a month or even just once a quarter. A lack of appreciation is one of the main reasons for job dissatisfaction and consequently also the most common reason for resignation. Tip for bosses: praise once a week .

2. feedback

Regular appraisal interviews can increase motivation. 96 percent of employees would like more feedback. A monthly meeting with the boss could work wonders for employee satisfaction.

3. workload

Almost one in four employees goes home exhausted. In times of increasing burnout cases , this means: red alert. Bosses can offer help, distribute tasks differently or allow overtime to be "worked off".

4. opportunities for advancement

Many employees want to develop professionally. They want more responsibility and further training opportunities. If they are not given these opportunities, there is a risk of dissatisfaction in the job, which in the medium term will lead to resignation.

5. satisfaction

A third of all employees think their pay is too low. Perhaps employers should think about salary increases, bonus programs or specific target agreements.

6 Work-life balance

More than half of Officevibe users state that stress has a negative impact on their private life. Keyword for bosses: workplace health promotion.

7. loyalty

More than half of all employees say that they would not recommend their own company to others. Greater transparency could ensure more loyalty.

8. boss relationship

The distance between boss and employees is obviously great in many companies. However, the more connected employees feel, the more satisfied they are.

9. collegiality

For many, having a good friend at work is the most important factor for satisfaction. How about team-building events or swapping places?

10. values

Many people cannot identify with the company's self-imposed values. This calls for courage on the part of the boss to review the values and change them if necessary.
