Orange peels

Orange pe el can be used to clean taps to a sparkling shine - goodbye limescale deposits and water stains. The essential oil in the peel of the tropical fruit also has a disinfectant effect.

Potato peelings

Mirrored thermos flasks often contain brown deposits of coffee or tea. Add the peel, fill with hot water and leave to soak for 15 minutes.

Banana peels

Hard to believe, but if you polish leather shoes with these, they will look like new. Wipe with a soft cloth.

Onion peel

Have a particularly disinfecting effect. If you want to have germ-free cookware, simply put the peels in the pots, add water and simmer for at least ten minutes.

Apple peels

The fruit acid they contain reacts strongly with aluminum. Put a handful of peels in an aluminum pot and boil them. The pot will sparkle as if it were new.
