Moscato d'Asti? Yes, that's right! Please don't confuse the traditional Moscato d'Asti with an Asti Spumante. Although it basically comes from the same region, Asti in Piedmont in northern Italy, that's all they have in common!
The Monteolivo Moscato d'Asti is a wonderfully sparkling summer wine. With its elegant sweetness, it delights our palates well chilled, even in hot temperatures! Its soft velvety texture gives this Italian Moscato its easy-drinking character, which also makes it a great choice for social gatherings.

The wine
Moscato, or Muscatel, is one of the oldest white wine grape varieties in the world and was already enjoyed by the Romans and Greeks.
As soon as the Moscato d'Asti is chilled in the glass, its bright golden reflections flash. Shortly afterwards, an enticing aroma of blossoming acacia, lime and peach reaches our nose. We immediately want to bite into this fruity, sweet peach so that its aromas can delight our palate. This white wine has a soft and delicate fizz that gives us that pleasant feeling of lightness and light-heartedness that we love so much in summer!
With its slender 5% by volume, which means you don't have to worry about your head the day after, we can enjoy this white wine with its refreshing, fine perlage without remorse.
The winemaker and the region
The Bersano winery is located in the heart of Piedmont between the cities of Turin, Asti and Alessandria. Arturo Bersano founded the winery in northern Italy back in 1896. The current owners of the estate are Biagio Soave and Ugo Massimelli. Under their management and with the support of oenologist Piersandro Sandri, they focus on: Fresh, fruit-driven white wines and barrique-aged red wines with pronounced but soft tannins.
At Bersano, the emphasis is on preserving traditional Piedmontese wines and grape varieties and emphasizing their strengths rather than following international fashion trends. The focus is on selected qualities. The acquisition of additional vineyards and new equipment in recent years has created the ideal basis for continuing to create new wines and delight wine lovers.
Fits perfectly
as an aperitif, with light fruit and cream desserts or simply as the basis for a refreshing sorbet or wine ice cream
