Ingredients for Florentines
- 100 g whipped cream
- 2 tbsp flour
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 50 g honey
- 50 g cherries
- 200 g flaked almonds
- 250 g dark chocolate coating
Recipe for Florentines
- Mix the whipping cream, flour and sugar in a pan and heat up. Stir in the honey and bring to the boil briefly. Turn off the heat.
- Stir in the finely chopped cherries and flaked almonds.
- Using a round cookie cutter, make circles on a baking tray.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 175°C (top/bottom heat). Leave to cool.
- Dip the reverse side in melted dark chocolate coating.
