Nutella without sugar: it's so easy to make the treat yourself

Oh, who doesn't love the delicious nut nougat chocolate cream? Whether on bread, on a crêpe, on a roll, on a pancake, on a sweet milk roll or simply on a spoon - we love Nutella! Of course, the treat is not healthy... right? Here we show you how to make your own Nutella without any sugar.

With 547 calories per 100 grams, "real" Nutella really isn't for the slimline. Of course, we don't usually care when we indulge in the sweet delicacy without restraint, but the fact that Nutella can also be made without sugar made us sit up and take notice. Nutella without sugar: you need these ingredients

You only need a few ingredients to make Nutella that is healthy AND delicious:

  • 400 g hazelnuts
  • 5 tbsp coconut oil
  • 4 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground vanilla
  • 6 tbsp agave syrup
  • pinch of salt

Preparation of the chocolate cream

  1. Spread the hazelnuts on a baking tray lined with baking paper and roast in the oven at 170°C (top/bottom heat) for approx. 8-10 minutes.
  2. Finely chop the nuts in a blender or chopper.
  3. Add a pinch of salt and five tablespoons of coconut oil, four tablespoons of cocoa powder, half a teaspoon of ground vanilla and six tablespoons of agave syrup and blend until smooth.
  4. Enjoy the Nutella without sugar!
