7 simple tricks for more energy

Would you like to be able to keep up with them? With a few simple tricks, however, you can ensure more energy in everyday life. Here are our tips to combat tiredness and fatigue:

1. light

Light signals to our body that it needs to be active. So: open the curtains and let the sun in.

2. alternating showers

Alternate between hot and cold every 30 seconds in the shower. The so-called alternating shower gets the circulation going and perks us up.

3. exercise in the fresh air

Ride your bike to work and go for a walk during your break. Fresh air and exercise activate the circulation.

4. switch to an alkaline diet

As a guideline, half of the food on your plate should be salad, vegetables and fruit. This also includes fruit juices and dried fruit. This is because acidosis is mainly caused by too much protein, which is found in meat and dairy products. Water and herbal teas are also ideal for bringing about a balance.

5. after lunch

Take a digestive walk after lunch to combat the midday slump.

6. chew gum

Chew a bit of gum in between. This increases your ability to concentrate.

7. red colors

Seeing red colors makes us more active and attentive.
