What is important when it comes to sex toys?

A large shelf and everything full of colorful, vibrating sex toys. An online store with countless categories and designs. In the sex stores of this world, you can find moles and dolphins, carrots, cucumbers or bananas, brightly colored vibrators or elegant anal plugs with glittering stones. If you're spoiled for choice, you're spoiled for choice - that's probably also true when it comes to sex toys. But what is actually important to most users? What should a sex toy be able to do? What should it be able to do? Or what should it actually look like? The erotic company ORION simply put these questions to its customers and asked them what really matters to them when using sex toys. The survey was met with great interest. We have briefly summarized the results.

What should a sex toy be able to do? ORION dared to conduct a survey.

Does size matter? Not so with the dildos and vibrators that are used in German beds. Only for a few participants was size a decisive criterion. One woman prefers small and handy, so that the faithful companion can be conveniently stowed away in any handbag. The other woman likes it large and full. Certainly a question of taste - and the intended use.

The design is much more important to most participants than the size. Above all, a sex toy should look appealing. Of course, this is also a matter of taste. For some, an animal shape is appealing, for others, funny figures are more of a turn-off. Of course, everyone decides for themselves. In the best case scenario, however, the sex toy is so discreetly shaped that the children won't immediately notice if the little helper is accidentally left lying around. Aesthetics are therefore a necessity for many women alongside design.

But what good is the most beautiful sex toy if it "fails" shortly before climax? Nothing. Around five percent of participants were therefore in favor of the toy's endurance. Of course, this only applies to vibrating, thrusting or otherwise "active" toys. In this context, many women prefer battery-operated vibrators so that endurance is guaranteed - or can be replaced quickly if necessary.

Numerous men also took part in the survey and gave their opinion. In true gentlemanly fashion, the most important thing for most of them is the woman's pleasure. Above all, she should be happy with the toy and reach her climax. Power, endurance, size and design are of secondary importance to men.

But what was most important to the majority of respondents? Not the design, not the size, not even the color or stamina were secondary. A clear majority of both men and women were in favor of power. Above all, a toy like this should be a little powerhouse so that women can get their money's worth. And in the end, that is exactly what all participants - rightly - said: It has to be fun! Whether big or small, fat or thin, blue or pink! Every woman has an individual sexuality and should choose the toy according to her needs. There are no guidelines, recommendations or even rules. Try it out! Every woman will find the right sex toy in ORION's erotic store.
