Is the egg still fresh or not? You can find out with these 3 tests!

Are the eggs still good? You can tell from these 3 tests

1. float test

Place the egg in a glass of water - if it remains at the bottom, it is fresh. Older eggs will rise due to enlarged air chambers. Depending on how old the egg is, it may even float to the top. You can still eat both the older and the outdated egg if it still looks good and does not smell unpleasant. However, please do not eat either variety fresh, but use them in cakes, for example.

2nd shaking test:

If you shake the egg back and forth and it gurgles slightly, then there is no chick inside. It is also a sign that the egg is no longer fresh. The sound is caused by the fact that the egg has become thinner. Here too: If the egg does not smell spoiled, then it can still be processed.

3. cracking test:

How to recognize a fresh egg immediately: The yolk is curved upwards and the egg white is crystal clear. Both are clearly separated from each other. The older the eggs are, the flatter the yolk becomes. The egg white, for its part, becomes thinner and blurred.
