Ingredients
200 milliliters of elderberry juice from the health food store, 250 to 300 grams of honey, half a lemon.
Preparation
1. pour the juice into a saucepan and heat gently for about ten minutes. Do not boil, otherwise the healthy ingredients will be destroyed. 2. allow the liquid to cool slightly, then add the honey. Then season to taste with the juice of half a lemon. You can also use normal household sugar instead of honey, but then you will need about 50 grams less. 3. boil a jug or preserving jar with hot water, dry well and then pour the syrup through a clean cloth into the preserving jar. Immediately seal the jar airtight and place in the fridge.
How to use
If you have a fever, allow one teaspoon of pure syrup to dissolve in your mouth every hour. You can also add two teaspoons to a cup or mug of hot water and then drink. It will take a few minutes to take effect.
