Wow, whipped coffee not only looks great, it also tastes simply heavenly!

What exactly is whipped coffee?

If coffee can never be creamy and fluffy enough for you, then you absolutely have to try whipped coffee. The trend originated in South Korea, where whipped coffee is called Dalgona, and has become a huge success worldwide thanks to Instagram and TikTok. Whipped coffee may look like it could only be made in a hip café, but it's super easy to make at home. With this drink, the coffee is whipped, not the milk, and only added to the milk in the glass at the end. Incidentally, the "whipped coffee" is drunk cold and tastes best when ice cubes are added.

Recipe for whipped coffee

All you need for this trendy drink is

  • Milk
  • Instant coffee
  • sugar
  • water

In addition, a blender or alternatively a whisk and a bowl for mixing.

For one portion of Dalgona Coffee, put 2 teaspoons of instant coffee, 2 tablespoons of sugar and 2 tablespoons of water in a bowl and mix everything with a hand mixer until you have a fluffy cream. Then put ice cubes in a glass and fill it about half full with milk. Pour the whipped coffee on top and the delicious food trend is ready. We hope you enjoy trying it out!
