Get up better with a workout to wake you up
A bit of exercise in bed awakens our spirits and mobilizes our body. Start by stretching your arms and legs extensively and comfortably in all directions - you don't even have to open your eyes. Yawn extensively to bring oxygen into the lungs.
Then stretch your legs in the air and cycle for three minutes, first forwards, then backwards. This makes the foot and knee joints as well as the hips flexible and supplies the cartilage with nutrients again after sleeping.
Now get into a quadruped position. As in yoga, alternate between a cat hump and a hollow back. Repeat the whole thing six times. This exercise loosens the neck and spine and makes the waist more elastic. This way you can start the day optimally relaxed and well prepared.
Start your beauty program with a power shower
Sure, contrast showers stimulate the circulation - we've probably all tried them at some point. But not everyone wants to stand under an ice-cold jet of water so early in the day. Why not start your beauty routine with a nice hot shower instead? Let the hard jet splash on your neck for a few minutes, massaging the nerve nodes, which are often very tense due to sitting in the office or lying down the wrong way. The morning "acupressure" provided by the water jet in combination with warmth immediately makes you feel fresh and alert.
What else can you do? A massage with the hedgehog ball over the foot reflex zones promotes blood circulation and the connection to the organs and body zones is stimulated. You can even do this easily under the breakfast table - ahhh.
Perfectly refresh the skin
Especially in the cold season, our complexion often looks tired, dull and lacks a fresh glow. Cleansing with an electric cleansing brush restores radiance. The oscillating brush head not only cleanses the skin, it also removes dead skin cells.
Homemade rosehip facial toner (pour 250 ml of boiling water over 2 tablespoons of dried rosehips and leave to infuse for 10 minutes) also ensures a rosy, clear complexion. Now use a day cream with vitamin C. This highly effective antioxidant protects the skin from damage caused by free radicals. It improves the skin's structure by strengthening the density of the papillae, which means that the skin can be better supplied with oxygen and nutrients. Vitamin C also reduces pigmentation spots.
Good mood breakfast
A healthy diet should also be part of our daily beauty routine. After all, beauty comes from within. Eggs, whether scrambled, omelette or boiled, are always a good idea as the first meal of the day. They contain high-quality proteins such as tryptophan, which is directly involved in the production of the happiness hormone serotonin. They are also rich in vitamin D, B12, K and biotin as well as minerals and trace elements such as iron and selenium. Thanks to lecithin, the gray cells are also given a boost. If you're more into muesli, try unsulphured goji berries. This superfood contains good antioxidants such as vitamins C, A, B1, B2 and various amino acids.
Vitamin C for the beauty program
Need an extra boost of freshness in the morning? The scent of essential citrus oils such as neroli, grapefruit, lemon or orange revives memories of summer and has a proven energizing and mood-lifting effect - great for nipping the winter blues in the bud. If you also want to boost your immune system, you can drink water with a few squeezes of lemon in the morning. This also improves digestion and has a cleansing effect on the body.
