The Mindfulness Challenge Day 2: The power of 5

The mindfulness challenge leads you to a more balanced, happier you. Being fully in the moment and feeling life - that is true happiness. The way to achieve this is mindfulness. Take part in our 7-day challenge! The second day of the Mindfulness Challenge is all about being grateful.

Mindfulness challenge inventor Sandra Boltz knows all about doubting, being overwhelmed and the feeling of seeing no light at the end of the tunnel. She has found out how to get out of such situations. How anyone can change their life - by changing the way they look at it. Because happiness at the touch of a button doesn't work. But everyone can become more open to happiness, can recognize the good in their own everyday life and what is good for them. After the first day was all about smiling, on the second day you should become aware of all the positive things that happen to you in your life.

2nd daily task of the mindfulness challenge: The power of 5

To start the day, count off five things on your fingers that you are grateful for and give thanks for one or more things in your life every time you look at the bracelet during the day.

In the daily grind, gratitude and appreciation are all too easily forgotten. We take many things for granted because we have simply become accustomed to them. On the other hand, we immediately register negative things that happen and keep them in our heads for a long time, which has a negative effect on our mood. Studies show that gratitude increases well-being. More positive feelings are experienced, a good mood and gratitude go hand in hand. Just give it a try today. Practice being grateful! What is going well on this day? What do you notice right now and is worth appreciating? It could be your health, a laugh, your favorite song on the radio, the sun shining, a phone call from a friend, a fragrant cup of tea at the end of the day or your soft bed when you go to sleep. Be grateful. This is how you do something good for yourself.
