Sunday is a very special day for us, as we have declared Sunday a detox day. This is not only good for our bodies, but also for our souls. Whether it's to wind down after a stressful week, to recharge your batteries before the start of the new week or simply to clear your head a little - individual detox days can also make a significant contribution to your holistic well-being. How do we celebrate our own personal detox day? We'll tell you here!
In the morning: Get out of bed and take a deep breath in front of the open window - that's a good start to the day. Then it's time for a shower. Special detox shower gels and shampoos refresh the body and remove dirt and styling residue from the skin and hair. Alternating showers and gentle massages with exfoliating sponges are ideal, as they promote blood circulation and enhance the detox effect. A healthy breakfast such as muesli with berries and nuts gives you energy. Instead of coffee, you should drink plenty of tea and water on your detox day. Ideally, you should drink two liters throughout the day.
Lunchtime: Now it's time to get some fresh air! A 30-minute walk gets your metabolism and circulation going. Toxins are removed more quickly. Then it's time for facial care. Products without chemical additives cleanse the skin gently and effectively. A mask with clay absorbs impurities and conjures up a radiant complexion. Relax afterwards and drink herbal tea. Extra tip: Enjoy a light lunch, such as a home-cooked vegetable soup. The detox day is very effective if you don't eat any solid food from now on.
In the evening: Bathing helps with detoxification and reduces stress. You can also make a detox bath yourself: dissolve half a cup of Dead Sea salt in water. It is rich in nutrients and helps to flush water out of the tissue. After the 20-minute bath, apply a detox lotion to your body. Go to bed earlier than usual to give your body the rest it needs.
